The Intercontinental Youth Camping will take place in the rural area of Novo Hamburgo, Lomba Grande, a reference in organic agriculture and ecologic tourism within the Metropolitan Area of Porto Alegre.
Transportation:
Even though Lomba Grande is a rural area, it is well located. Besides being a part of Novo Hamburgo, it’s near many cities, and two of those cities will also be hosting the activities for the World Social Forum. Buses routes will do the course between Lomba Grande and Novo Hamburgo’s districts, as well as to and from other cities. Buses every 15 minutes with special prices will be available for the participants of World Social Furum. The Metro connects Porto Alegre to São Leopoldo, a city near Novo Hamburgo, it takes about 40 minutes, and it will be adapted to needs of the World Social Forum.
